Methinks one of the downsides of being a writer, someone who takes thoughts to pen and paper, is one may end up romanticizing even the everyday mundane. When words flow and come to life before your eyes, you may think you are saying something new, saying something in a new way, exploring and sharing novel thoughts and heretofore unexperienced emotions. Not really. There is nothing quite new under the sun. This does not mean you should not pursue your craft and speak your truths, LOUDLY!, just that have some perspective. You are not all that, neither are you not, not just yet. You do not have the luxury of slacking off. Capisce?
