Two Questions

I was mesmerized with the two brief questions which the (previously unloved) heroine asks herself as she feels the first surge of attraction towards the hero: ‘Is it now? Is it you?’ And then, a little later, the two brief subvocalised answers: ‘It is now. It is you.’ I was always asking myself those two questions, and always hoping to hear those two answers.
